Summary: I recently modified this 3D printer carousel, found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:702912, to better suit my needs. Initially, I found that the ring holes were too small for storing most of my small pliers. To resolve this issue, I increased the diameter of both the center cavity and the ring storage holes. Additionally, I added a ring to the outer edge of the base to prevent long, narrow objects from slipping out of the holder. This modified carousel was printed on my Prusa i3 in PLA with no support required. I have included the SolidWorks files for users who wish to resize or modify the project as needed.
