Tool Box Handle

Tool Box Handle

In pursuit of a self-contained toolbox-style handle, I began with the handle from a Ghostbusters prop, courtesy of RyanTheMast. The inner width of the handle is approximately four inches. Number six fasteners run through the pivot and are secured on the other side using nuts to provide maximum strength. There's sufficient clearance in the joint where you should have full screw thread engagement with the captured nut while still allowing the handle to rotate freely, although results may vary. Assembly Hardware: A #6-32 socket head screw that is one inch long can be found at this link: https://www.mcmaster.com/91251a153. A #6-32 hex nut can also be sourced from McMaster-Carr, located here: https://www.mcmaster.com/96537a130. Attachment Hardware: A #8 flat head wood screw is required for attachment.
