Tool box for magnetic tool strip
thingiverse
I designed a custom tool holder that attaches seamlessly to my Harbor Freight magnetic tool holder, giving me a versatile toolbox system for my 3D printer stand converted from a Walmart end table. My goal was to create a toolbox that integrates perfectly with the magnetic tool holder I'd purchased and had attached to the modified stand. This setup allows me to organize my tools efficiently while working on my projects. I repurposed a slot cover from an old computer case I built years ago, which I'd been storing in a box until I found the perfect use for it. The Dremel came in handy when cutting the slot cover close to the top, and then I used super glue to securely attach it to the box. The result is a sturdy tool holder that can hold some of my frequently used tools while printing. A small indentation on the back ensures the metal bracket lies flat against the toolbox, giving me more space for my tools without any obstructions.
