Tool and Pen Holder
thingiverse
This version is sized for pens, but can easily hold some tools. It features a center holder 50mm in diameter and six outer holders, each 20mm wide. The design is inspired by Pseudo 60s Scandinavian Design Tool Holder Cube with the central cut out. This thing is solid and took about 15 hours to print. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 4 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 16% Notes: Supports should not be needed as long as your printer has a fan and can bridge successfully. A raft may be necessary depending on your printer setup. How I Designed This Print size reduction is not recommended without changing the design. The perimeter between the central tube and six outer tubes is 0.5mm, which is fine at 100%. If you shrink this model, it might fail. You must increase this using the OpenSCAD file. Change line 11 to "tubeoffset=(tube1dia/2)+((tube2dia/2)+0.6);" and add an extra 0.1 to the end of the line. Increasing model size percentage should be okay.
