Tony Stark Arc Reactor Infinity War & Endgame
thingiverse
I designed this wearable Arc Reactor in Blender to mimic the prop from Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. The bottom piece and top piece, which houses the LEDs, were created using Solutech White PLA. I painted the finished parts with metallic acrylic paints for a realistic finish. To achieve a cool appearance whether the LEDs are on or off, I used two different infill settings for the glass sections, printed in Clear Solutech PLA. The two pieces are held together by Neodymium magnets, which were purchased from Walmart's website at https://www.walmart.com/ip/totalElement-1-2-x-1-16-Inch-Neodymium-Rare-Earth-Craft-Disc-Magnets-N48-with-3M-Self-Adhesive-30-pack/730886530. To give the clear plastic a blue glow, I printed out a light blue square image on an inkjet and cut it to shape.
