Tony Buser Reconstructed
thingiverse
To create a 360-degree self-scan, sit on an office chair and set up Kinect with ReconstructMe. Ensure only your upper body is in the scanning area. Gradually spin around while maintaining a stationary upper body. Upload the resulting STL file to NetFabb for repair and rotation. Remove the bottom of the model for a flat surface. Optionally, run Poisson Reconstruction in Meshlab for a smoother model. Lastly, load the STL into ReplicatorG for resizing and placement on the print table before printing. Profit!
