ToneArm Counterbalance Repair Dowel Akai AP-Q50
thingiverse
I designed this repair part to fix my counterbalance/tonearm for my Akai AP-Q50 turntable. It's a widespread issue that the plastic/rubber connecting the counterbalance to the tonearm breaks down, turning into a sticky mess and causing the counterbalance to droop. To fix the problem, you can insert this printed part into the tonearm after removing its screw. This should allow you to repair your turntable effectively. I printed this part with 0.2 mm layer thickness and 25% infill on my Anycubic I3 Mega, and it fits perfectly without needing any additional reinforcement like super glue or epoxy.
