I loved the work of the original author Dinco_LaVache and the changes made in the safety pedal remix by mjfmakers1 however I ran in to several issues when I assembled and used the pedal. I decided to make refinements to improve the strength and function. Changes: *Widen the pedal to allow a looser fit against the side members to reduce friction. Pedal would bind and hold the BCM button down.*Instead of relying on friction and the return of the button on the BCM to return the pedal upwards this design relies on a TPU concentric spring/wheel modeled after airless tires. It might also be possible to print this from PETG or PLA if you print it in vase mode. Have not tried. *Added a screw hole for a 1" drywall screw to secure the sides to the middle post. I still recommend using super glue with the screw to prevent rotation. Super glue alone did not hold after repeated pressing. *Added a logo STL for the pedal. If you are using bambustudio you can use this file as a modifier on the pedal to embed the logo in the pedal surface.
