thingiverse
These are the essential components used to restore a 1970s Tomy Karate Bot to its former glory.\r\nThe parts list includes a battery door, although I'm not entirely confident in its accuracy since I've never laid eyes on one before - this particular specimen appears to work, however. You may need to fiddle with it a bit to get it right.\r\nIt also comes equipped with the domes for the back, plus the domes for the ears. If your pins are broken off, be sure to check out the video that explains how to use the pins for the ears correctly.\r\nLastly, my robot was missing its chest plate, so I crafted a replacement part from scratch to fill in the gap.\r\nEnjoy this YouTube video...\r\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auqkIwwHs5I\r\n\r\nThis is a revisit of the Karate Robot, and it's well worth checking out.\r\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gvnLbgl2Ws\r\n\r\nIf you find these tutorials helpful, consider showing your appreciation with a tip.
