Tomoquads Katana 2 UL-LR GPS elevated mount for Matek M8Q
thingiverse
I wanted an elevated GPS/compass mount for my new long-range build and didn't see much available for this frame so I figured I'd make one. This fits on the rear two standoffs and hides most of the wires, however you have to pull them out and through to plug in. Requires the Matek to be mounted arrow backwards, but you can set the yaw rotation in BF, iNav, etc to compensate. The box/holder is made for 20x20x9 height, as you can see in the photos, the GPS antenna sticks out slightly. Recommend you tape or heat shrink the unit in place for safety. This helps keep the compass away from the motors, cables, and carbon that can affect accuracy and ensure the GPS antenna isn't obstructed. I printed in TPU and 60% infill with the box face down on the plate and supports for the standoff mounts.
