Tomb of King John at Worcester Cathedral (1232 AD)

While strolling through Worcester Cathedral, I seized the opportunity to conduct a rapid examination of King John's Tomb using my mobile phone equipped with the Sony 3D creator app. The result is a detailed scan of the intricately carved stone effigy perched atop the tomb. According to Worcester Cathedral's website, the effigy was crafted in 1232 AD and stands out as an unusually accurate representation of the king. Notably, the tomb itself is a later addition. For those unfamiliar with British history: King John's fame largely stems from his role in shaping the Magna Carta and his appearances in the Robin Hood legends. The scan was captured using the Sony 3D Creator app on my Xperia XZ1 Compact smartphone, which effectively conveyed the shape's complexity.
