Tomb Of Horrors Infinity Mirror
thingiverse
I created this from AxoloteGaming's Wall Face model in order to turn it into a large infinity mirror. Printed at 395mm tall on my CR-10S4, it took 106 hours and 1.75kg of filament. I carefully traced the mouth opening (at the back) and cut two acrylic panels to shape. I covered those with 'mirror window tint' purchased from Amazon. I glued one panel to the underside ledge (behind the front of the mouth opening). Next, I glued an led strip around the interior wall of the mouth, running the wiring and control into the large compartment in the upper portion of the head (attaching controller using velcro). Finally, I glued the remaining acrylic mirror to some oversized black felt. Then I glued the felt to the back of the model. I added more felt in various spots to space the model off the wall evenly, plus help to protect from scratching the wall. I've also included a 300mm version of the head since that is a more common size print bed. Also included is a Microsoft 3d builder .3mf file in case you wish to modify the model. The keyhole slots are sized to hold a standard drywall screw. Link to video showing final effect: https://youtu.be/w51hrD1z-dw
