Gaston de Foix, Duke of Nemours, born on December 10, 1489, and deceased on April 11, 1512, earned the nickname "The Thunderbolt of Italy" for his exceptional military leadership during a six-month campaign from 1511 to 1512 in the War of the League of Cambrai.
