The mount features holes for long fan screws, but it can still hold securely without them due to friction. This mount is particularly useful when using a heated bed with PLA, as this combination can be hazardous (code name: overhangs). The fan will be positioned at least 60mm above the pad, making it ideal for users of Printrbot Simple Metal printers.
