Tom's Simple Chunky Rocket (for vase/spiralized mode) V1+V2
thingiverse
NEW Version 2 with a "nose" and no markings on stabilizers is now available after more than a year since the original rocket. Use the surface of this chunky rocket for some #VelocityPainting during 3D printing! ;) Inspired by @SpannerHands and his simple, clean rocket, I quickly created (in Fusion 360) and 3D printed my own, very orange, more chunky rocket using my Ultimaker3 as a test of "vase mode" #3Dprinting with the Cura 2.3.1 slicer. As we say here in the Czech Republic, "As you do on New Year, you will do all year." So I will print only rockets in 2017. B-) Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 150–200 microns are good enough Infill: no! ;) Notes: Use Vase mode (Spiralized contour mode etc.) – it's smooth, fast and attractive 200mm tall print then.
