Tom's 3D printer
thingiverse
This is my 3D printer, a work in progress that's printing pretty well so far! If you're interested in STEP files, get in touch - there are areas of the build I'm not entirely happy with, but it's been a great success for me. The build volume is 215x15x~300mm and can be customized depending on the extrusion used; I've used my reprap i3 bed and end stops (although end stop mounting still needs some work). I need the following parts: 20x20 extrusion in these lengths: 525mm x 2, 455mm x 2, 410mm x 2, 290mm x 4, 250mm x 2, 50mm x 2 10mm rods cut to: 290mm x 2, 430mm x 2, 415mm x 2 2x 415mm lead screws 4x 16-tooth GT2 pulleys 10x LM10UU bearings 4 x 5x8x3mm (or similar width) bearings A selection of M3 and M5 nuts and bolts - I'll update with lengths later, but it's not a huge list. M5 channel nuts for the extrusion Angle brackets for the extrusion - I think I got 50 and it was enough. Further updates will come; comments and modifications are greatly welcomed.
