To enhance my printer's functionality, I created a straightforward design featuring standard 5mm LEDs that facilitate unimpeded viewing of printed items. Assemble the print with an extra shell for easy hole drilling if needed. Secure it to the hole behind the extruder using an M5 bolt and nut. To wire the LEDs, connect each branch in series and utilize a current-limiting resistor. Finally, connect all branches in parallel to a 12V power source for optimal illumination.
