TOM m3-nut thumb-wheel for bed-leveling

thingiverse

This m3-nut thumb-wheel accessory fits extra long m3-screws for bed levelling adjustments. Its unique design features a "dome" to enable easy rotation when stacked. The standard M3-nut slots effortlessly inside and remains flush with the surface. For optimal stability, use two of these wheels per fixing point (one above and one below the bottom plate), creating a "sandwich" structure with the metal nut at the end. Additionally, there are two front springs to facilitate levelling; a third fixed spring is located in the middle back. This design requires printing six total pieces for three-point bed levelling, as demonstrated in the photo. The concept was partly inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13778 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:346812. For printing, ABS material is recommended with solid or dense infill at 0.1 resolution.
