With this modification, accessing the mechanical and electronic components at the base of your unit becomes simple. By removing just four screws, you can tilt the entire top section onto its back without disconnecting any cables. This is especially beneficial for those who wish to tinker with their device's internals by adding enhancements or experimenting with various ideas. To make this possible, a thin piano hinge was added, matching the gap between the Back Panel and Bottom Panel. Additionally, vinyl bumpers were attached to the back of the enclosure for ease in placing it on a work surface without causing damage. Always exercise caution when operating the unit with exposed electronics, as it is not suitable for testing or adjustments. The included images and document demonstrate how this modification was done. In the future, a side latch feature will be available to eliminate the need for unscrewing the bottom of the printer before opening it.
