Tom Dixon's Melt Stand Chandelier 3D model features a visually stunning lighting globe that displays a mesmerizing melted hot blown glass effect. The pendant lamp, a result of collaboration with Swedish design collective FRONT, is created through vacuum metallization technique. This innovative process deposits minuscule amounts of material onto a surface, leading to a semi-metallized interior. In the daytime, it's translucent with an internal luminosity, while at night, it emits an attractive, mildly hallucinogenic light, similar to Hubble Telescope images of the cosmos. The model is crafted using physical correct materials and rendered in Corona 1.7 for optimal visual performance. Material switch options ensure versatile usage, and color customization can be done via the output node. The elements are not attached, allowing full control over rotation.
