Tom Bihn Copycat Snaphook *UPDATED*
thingiverse
I really love the Tom Bihn snap hook design and thought it would be awesome to create a 3D printable version! It works exactly like the original, with the strap arm having plenty of room to move around. The model prints complete, so all you have to do is add some supports using your favorite slicer software. Here's a direct link to the specific part that inspired this project: http://www.tombihn.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=TB0524 **Updated Version**: I had some trouble printing it on nozzles larger than 0.2mm, mainly because the ball wasn't gripping onto the supports properly. To solve this issue, I increased the internal space of the clip, making it less cramped than before. I've also included a simple "link" file if you prefer to have only one snap hook instead of two.
With this file you will be able to print Tom Bihn Copycat Snaphook *UPDATED* with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Tom Bihn Copycat Snaphook *UPDATED*.
