Test of texture for a Mexican Petate Rug. A common artifact in Mexican tradition used as a place to sit, lie down or place an altar among other uses. These objects are woven with vegetable fibers such as palm, cane and tule. This is the first of several textures that will form part of a collection seeking to implement the colors and forms of Mexican culture.
