Tolerance Test for press fit Box
thingiverse
I built a simple tolerance test for my Arcade Button Box. It's designed to be press-fit, so I created this to figure out how far apart the walls should be. The bottom part is always the same, so you only need to print the top part, which has the tolerance engraved. Here are the source files, made with OnShape CAD: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/fbb72adfc2ac9efca3d3c3e9/w/ac9656d8fc39326f02a92bb0/e/8f5abb3b4a34fb69a9185816 If you post the results of your printer in the comments, it might be helpful to others. ## Update: I printed 0mm, 0.025mm, and 0.05mm on my Prusa MK3 with a 0.2mm layer height using the "FAST"-Profile. The results showed that the Prusa prints really well - all three tested tolerances fit perfectly. So now I need to update my Button Box, knowing that I don't have to worry about tolerances since the MK3 doesn't require them.
