This kit transforms a Bingo MP7 AEP HPA kit into a VZ61 kit, allowing you to upgrade your airsoft gun with ease. You can obtain the necessary MP7 kit from Airsoft Junkies at [www.airsoftjunkiez.com/bingo-airsoft-designs-polarstar-jack-tm-mp7-drop-in-kit](http://www.airsoftjunkiez.com/bingo-airsoft-designs-polarstar-jack-tm-mp7-drop-in-kit). To complete the conversion, you will need a couple of switches, which I sourced from Jaycar. The SM1036 model is an ideal choice, available at [www.jaycar.co.nz/spdt-sub-miniature-microswitch/p/SM1036](https://www.jaycar.co.nz/spdt-sub-miniature-microswitch/p/SM1036). You will need one switch to be installed inside the trigger chassis, wired normally closed. The selector switch can be screwed directly into the grip chassis. I plan to measure and add holes for the selector switch in my TM Mod M model upgrade. Please note that this conversion is a one-way process as the nub at the back of the receiver, which centralizes the AEP gearbox, needs to be ground off to clear the solenoid. This is a shame as it would have been a drop-in conversion otherwise. To facilitate the removal of the fuse mount in the grip, I had to wiggle it back and forth until it tore away. The rear chassis acts as a top guide for the selector plate. Assembly should be straightforward due to the ample room and holes provided for both the loom and macro line. Ideally, you would want a shorter FCU cable, approximately 4 inches less than the standard length, but this has not been measured. When using the VZ61 kit, it's essential to address the hop deficiency issue as it becomes apparent when firing heavy BBs at high FPS rates. To resolve this, I recommend checking out the TDC mod available on [www.thingiverse.com/thing:2868962](https://www.thingaverse.com/thing:2868962). With proper setup, the VZ61 kit can feed like a laser at 35 rounds per second, but it's worth noting that the mags are limited to 58 rounds or the drum mag. The new Mod M release includes high-capacity stick mags holding up to 260 rounds. In the future, I plan to explore converting MP5 mid-caps into Vz61-compatible magazines for a 100-round mid-cap solution.
