Tokamak model
thingiverse
A Compact Tokamak Model for 3D Printing. Display it proudly on your desk as an intriguing toy or utilize it as a teaching tool to educate people about magnetic confinement fusion devices - specifically, the tokamak. This model is intended to be printed in separate parts and then assembled together. The Toroidal Field (TF) coils should be placed above each quadrant before final assembly. Additionally, the bottom Poloidal Field (PF) coils need to be inserted into their corresponding supports on the TF coils. Once this step is complete, slide the TF coils evenly around the tokamak. Special thanks go out to my colleagues at the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), Joe Dobrashian and Chris Wood, for lending their expertise in designing this model. We also extend our gratitude to Megan O'Malley, who designed and created a stand for the model during her work experience placement at UKAEA.
