Toilet Sign

Toilet Sign

Couldn't find the sign I was looking for, so I made one myself. Starting with an SVG file from the web featuring standard restroom icons of men and women, I used DNewman's excellent Inkscape to OpenSCAD plugin to export the image as an STL (toilet-figures.stl). The SCAD output is included as well. Next, using Tinkercad.com, I placed the figures on top of a rectangle to approximate the sign I was searching for. Two versions are provided: an outline version and a stacked 'extruded' version, depending on how you'd like to print them. The outline version is straightforward, while the extruded version can be printed in two colors by pausing the print at 4mm and swapping colors (I have a single extruder MakerBot Replicator 2). Try tinkering with either the extruded or the outline version on Tinkercad.com
