Toilet seat / Toiletbril

For individuals living with disabilities, a specialized toilet seat on a sturdy steel frame was designed over two decades ago. The original seat had broken and replacement options were scarce. Therefore, I created a new one for him. The finished product measures between 6 to 8 millimeters in thickness. Its weight comes out to be approximately 2.2 kilograms. This print job was carried out using my Titan extruder in conjunction with the Volcano hotend, boasting a nozzle diameter of 0.6 millimeters and layer height of 0.4 millimeters. The printing process took place on my CoreXY printer, which has a maximum printing capacity of 500x500x250 millimeters. A total of 72 hours was required to complete the print job, resulting in a final product weighing 2.2 kilograms. The chosen material for this project is solid PLA with a thickness of 3 millimeters. Following the completion of the print, I sanded the product by hand using corn 120 sanding paper to achieve a smooth finish. To further enhance the surface smoothness, two additional layers of XTC-3D paint were applied.
