Toilet seat hinge

Replacing old toilet seat hinges is often done quickly using leftover materials. I decided not to piece together a new hinge on thingiverse, instead choosing to design it entirely myself.\nI salvaged parts like threaded rods, washers, plastic nuts and screws from the removed hinges for reuse in the construction process.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Velleman Vertex K8400 is my preferred 3D printer model.\nRafts: The setting doesn't actually matter.\nSupports: It's a requirement to print supports in some cases.\nResolution: Opting for the lowest resolution possible at 0.2 will yield the desired results.\nInfill: Printing at 30% infill gives the object the needed strength and durability without overexertion of resources.\nNotes:\nThe base must be provided with support, if necessary, as stated previously. A different printing option for this hinge exists - printing on its side works well too.\nPost-Printing\nFirstly, take out the supports from the base structure then add a thread to the bottom with M6 tap. Screw that thread in or go ahead and insert a screw directly.\n30mm steel rod was selected due to convenience when creating pin material but using any available 5 mm rods can work equally well.
