This replacement hinge is designed specifically for the Bevis brand toilet seat's slow-close mechanism, which often breaks due to excessive stress from the slow-close spring. I'm currently putting this test hinge through its paces and will reassess it once I'm satisfied with its performance. Initially, I printed it at 25% infill but plan to redo it with a 100% or higher infill once I've confirmed its accuracy. Full supports were used during the first print, though they might not be necessary; I merely chose this approach to avoid repeating the process multiple times. This is my second attempt after the initial version failed when an unsuspecting person sat on it, breaking it.
