Toilet Seat Fix
thingiverse
So, who has ever had to deal with a toilet seat that has supports that don't line up perfectly with the bowl, causing it to slide off whenever you lean to one side? This can be more than just annoying and slightly intimidating - it can eventually break the hinge of the seat. I came up with this fix in just five minutes. I measured my support carefully, drew a slot with the same dimensions offset just right, and then extruded it to the exact height as the supports. My measurements were so precise that the finished print slid snugly over the stock seat support without needing any glue. I didn't have any white filament available, so I printed it in silver metal instead. As a bachelor, I don't really worry about aesthetics - besides, it makes for a better photo to share with you guys. If looks mattered more to me, I would have used white and probably added a fillet to the shim too. If your support is a different size or if you want this design modified to fit your needs, just send me a message and I'll create one tailored specifically for you. And if you need anything else designed, don't hesitate to get in touch - we'll make it happen. 04/12/2020 Uploaded version 17.6 ID for LudeNation
