Toilet Roll Holder 'The Bend' cnc/laser

As an inventive upgrade to my humble toilet paper holder, I conceptualized this innovative adaptation of the Woodini Stool design by Bakery Design. I decided against cutting nearly 30 mm thick material on my desktop CNC machine and instead opted to glue together three layers of 9.6 mm material. To minimize wastage, I precisely nested the parts with carefully calculated gaps of 3 mm. The build process was executed on a Stepcraft desktop CNC machine using 9.6 mm birch plywood, which was precision-cut with a spiral-toothed 3 mm flute bit. The surface underwent a clear spray-painting treatment to accentuate the wood grain and make it water-resistant for easier maintenance. To facilitate easy disassembly when changing the roll, I employed two strategically placed magnets to secure the joined parts. A dowel and corresponding hole were also incorporated into the design to ensure seamless assembly and disassembly. For more fascinating designs like this one, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
