Toilet roll holder fix
prusaprinters

My rental has a toilet roll holder that originally used a sticky suction pad to create a seal against the tiles in our bathroom wall, because the tiles are textured it would often fall off and one day did so and broke. The seal no longer holds and so I designed this replacement using velcro command hooks and it has been much more reliable.

It is printed in black eSun PLA+ and unfortunately needs to be printed in an orientation that leaves the supported surface exposed so its not the most perfect finish. It uses a 12mm countersunk wood screw through the center to strengthen where the steel toilet paper hook fits on. There is then a plastic cap that holds it all together by slotting over the top.

Supports are needed as the gap for the slot is needing accuracy. Hopefully someone is using a similar toilet paper holder and can either use my model, or be inspired to redesign their one to be held securely to the wall.
