Toilet roll holder
thingiverse
I uploaded new STL files because I made a slight modification to the position of the rod holes. The knobs should now swivel freely. This load-and-unload toilet roll holder is easy to use. You can either stick it to the wall with double-sided tape or use two countersunk screws or toggle bolts. It will hold double-length toilet rolls, as shown in the image. When I could buy toilet paper again, they only had double-length rolls that didn't fit in the old holder, so I made this new one. The rods slide into the side of the holder that touches the wall and keep the knobs in place, allowing them to pivot up and drop back down. I've provided two rod options: print them or use strips of filament cut to the correct length. If you print the rods I supplied, trim them slightly as they are a little too long (done deliberately). Alternatively, you can use metal rods about 2 mm in diameter, but plastic ones are plenty strong enough. To fit a roll from the bottom, lift it up and let the knobs enter the sides of the roll tube, then lower it into place. Remove the old roll by lifting upwards. I printed the main body with a brim and no supports, while the knobs were printed on a raft with supports to build plate. The rods were also printed on a raft with supports to build plate, as they are contoured at the ends for easier insertion.
