Toilet Paper Role Holder - Hidden Hardware
thingiverse
After remodeling my bathroom on a small scale, I had to come up with a toilet paper roll holder that perfectly matched the upgraded aesthetic. Being in possession of a 3D printer, I decided to tackle this task head-on and bring it to fruition in record time. In mere minutes - only 15 to be exact, thanks to my proficiency in OpenSCAD - the initial design stages were completed with finesse. What followed was a concentrated effort of almost two hours - precisely one hour and 22 minutes - as I pushed through to completion, driven by an unwavering sense of purpose. Finally, after considerable deliberation and meticulous planning, I had accomplished my goal, now armed with the means to hold my toilet paper roll securely in place. This design was ultimately printed using a specific material - waterlogged white PLA. This type of PLA was used at 10% infill density to strike an optimal balance between weight and functionality. A brim size of 2mm was selected for this project, proving unnecessary any further need for support structures, which in turn enabled printing at the maximum rate of 100mm/sec available on my printer.
