Our dog has been going on random rampages of toilet paper destruction for years now, which is truly ridiculous and completely unexpected. Months will go by without any incident when suddenly she becomes obsessed with ripping fresh toilet paper rolls apart while they hang helplessly on their spindles. This little device has finally brought an end to her destructive antics. It attaches directly to your toilet paper hanger and shields the bottom portion of the roll from harm. In our case, this was enough of a barrier that the dog lost all interest in the toilet paper rolls. However, as a backup plan, a second version is also available, which shields a larger portion of the roll. In both designs, you can either feed your TP through the bottom of the shield or if you have a recessed toilet paper dispenser, you can simply roll it completely out of the way. If anyone else suffers from lost toilet paper due to a pet or even a toddler, I hope that this device can help ease their suffering.
