Toilet paper holder (full enclosure) [2022 updated]

<p>Many smaller apartments and hotel rooms have the toilet and bathroom as the same room. So most if not all existing holder on Thingiverse are useless as they do not have full shield against splash. Some have hex or square designs which, increase friction when pulling the roll out and therefore increase chance that the roll break inside the enclosure... or just plain annoying to use.</p><p>Therefore this is designed to be:</p><ul><li>Easy to print, assemble and modify</li><li>Minimal contact area between roll and enclosure</li><li>Fully shielded</li><li>Easily take the LAST piece of paper from the roll</li><li>[NEW] You can turn the axle instead of pulling the roll (so it won't break inside the enclosure)</li></ul><p>Minimal footprint and material consumption</p><h3>Mounting</h3><p>Tape the triangular side to the wall with<strong>3M VHB</strong> or<strong>Command Waterproof tape</strong>. The corner with gap adjacent to it should point downward, leave a flat horizontal surface on top.</p><h3>Assembly</h3><p>[Edited 29Jan2022]</p><ol><li>Jam the <strong>axle clip</strong> into a new roll of toilet paper</li><li>Slide the handle through the <strong>cover panel opening</strong></li><li>Slide the whole <strong>toilet paper roll+cover assembly</strong> into the main body</li></ol><h3>Modification</h3><p>You might want to fasten the lid a bit better to the main body</p><h3>Usage tip</h3><p><strong>Turn the axle clip to rotate the paper roll </strong>when the roll is new.
