Toilet Paper Dispenser (Scalable)
prusaprinters

Inspired by similar dispenser type systems, I found this to be really useful for toilet papers as well. For me, my toilet paper is stored on top of a cabinet near the ceiling, and it has gotten tedious whenever I run out of my current roll, and I didn't have the room to store any extra ones outside.. until now!

Only hardware required is 8x3mm magnets (same ones used for the popular extruder indicators) to stack multiple units. Otherwise, it's just two simple parts -- the base with the opening for your toilet paper rolls, and then another that can be printed however many times you would like. The third part (lid) is optional, if you are worried about dust settling on top.

I've taken the liberty of also including the .STEP files should you need to modify anything in order to better suit your needs. I am aware the walls for the magnets are so thin that it does not show up when sliced -- I modeled it late at night and never noticed, but fortunately it does not affect the mechanism at all.

The Base part needs minimal supports, and if you're using my 3MF file the supports should already be neatly positioned to be easily removable. The other parts do not require any supports, but may test your printer's part cooling capability.

Print instructions

Print the Base.3mf (supports should already be placed appropriately), and however many Expanded2.stl's you want (each holds one toilet paper roll), and the Lid.stl (optional).

Superglue the magnets into the holes (triple check the polarity!).

(Optional) Mount it to the wall via 3M Double-sided Mounting Tape!

Refill with toilet paper!
