So this one was really strange. When I flushed my toilet, it would sometimes get stuck, but nothing inside the tank seemed to be causing the problem. One day I took apart the handle and saw that a small metal notch had snapped off. I ground down part of it and slipped a piece of plastic around it to cover the gap. The end result was a toilet that flushes like new again.
