Toilet Handle and Arm Replacement
thingiverse
The arm for my toilet flusher broke down completely. Rather than buying a new one or just fixing it, I decided to take the time to design replacement parts that would work perfectly every time. Now, everyone can enjoy them! Please let me know if yours works as well as mine. Suggestions for improvement are always welcome. Update: On June 14th, 2017, my handle and arm snapped after a year of regular use. I made an updated 1.1 version of the handle and arm, adjusted for even more durability where they used to snap. Enjoy the even better toilet handle and arm! Print Settings Printer: Geetech Prusa i3b Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm layer height Infill: Solid Notes: I printed mine in PLA with solid infill, and 0.1 layer height with a 0.5mm nozzle. For the handle, things got melty on the rod, so I slowed down the print super slow on that part, and it printed wonderfully. The nut and bolt part printed remarkably well with no special treatment. The handle was printed with 20% rectilinear infill, and 6 perimeter layers for sturdy strength. Post-Printing A little bit of filing was needed after printing, but the arm and handle snapped together very well. The nut and bolt fit together quite well straight out of the printer.
