My cat likes to cuddle in the morning during tik tok time so I needed to come up with a way to hold my phone. This is designed to fit 1.5" ADA grab bars. I ended up using two M3 threaded inserts as the M5 screws did not hold well enough in the plastic. I did need to sand down the tenon and barrel to make it adjust easier. I designed this to fit the Samsung Galaxy S23 with a Temdan case. Fits phones up to 82mm wide and 14.5mm thick. Has a hole for the speaker but not for the charging port.
