Toggle clamp
grabcad
The toggle clamp is used mainly in carpentry and woodworking. The tool is simple enough (quite efficient though) and converting it into a CAD model is hardly challenging. I have made more complex models many times before. I wouldn't have wasted time if it hadn't been for the very first edition of Autodesk Inventor (release ONE, codename Rubicon). So, I decided to give it a try, just for fun.Understandably, release One is missing many tools we are used today. That is especially true when it comes to making sketches. What is more, to create rendered images is simply impossible. Ray tracing and Inventor Studio, not to mention the perspective projection, are not available. This is why the uploaded pictures are of the highest quality possible. In screenshots, Autodesk Inventor R1 is running on Oracle VM VirtualBox with Windows 2000 SP4 installed in a virtual machine.Further reading:https://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2019/09/happy-20th-birthday-autodesk-inventor-and-vault.html
