Toddler Toy Capital Letters Part 1/3
thingiverse
This is designed for 9 puzzle pieces (letters A through I) that fall freely from the plate. A stand is included for the plate to be set on or securely glued to, and a drawer can easily be pulled out. In the United States, the Child Safety Protection Act demands warning labels on packaging for toys containing small parts. A tool called the small parts test fixture is used to measure toy parts. It's a cylinder tube that measures 1.25 inches in diameter and between 1 and 2.25 inches deep. This tube mimics a child's mouth and pharynx perfectly. Any object fitting inside this tube is considered a small part, requiring a label on its packaging indicating it poses a choking hazard for small children. This 3D object at its current scale (in inches) contains small parts. The puzzle can be scaled larger but is designed for a 3D print bed with dimensions not quite 9in by 9in. However, the usable dimensions are only 6in by 6in. If you have a larger printable area and prefer to give this toy to a child younger than 3 years, please scale the design larger accordingly.
