A historic monument stands proudly, comprised of an elegant slanted shaft and a uniquely shaped Tocca's stone that sits beside it. Both sculptures rest firmly on a sturdy cross base. Beneath this lies a massive reused block taken from an old cheese press. This block is inscribed with the following information: "The upper part of this monument is believed to be a remaining piece of the ancient parish preaching cross, which likely dates back to 684 : The lower portion is thought to be part of the historic Toches Stone from which the local parish gets its name".
