Tobii X2-60 EPU VESA Mount

The Tobii X2-60 (https://tobii.com/) is an excellent piece of equipment used for eye tracking research environments. However, the main problem with this equipment is that its EPU (External Processing Unit) has to sit on a desk in front of the subject. When working with subjects who tend to push buttons and grab things with their hands, this poses a significant issue. Considering we work mainly with children, there had to be a more practical solution available. A mounting bracket attached to the back of a monitor using standard VESA mount hardware would have been an ideal setup. Unfortunately, Tobii doesn't offer such a bracket. We decided to take matters into our own hands and designed one. I am very satisfied with the simplicity of this design. Although it's not particularly elegant, it gets the job done efficiently. As long as you're not moving your monitor around constantly, there shouldn't be any issues with the EPU falling out from its mounting bracket. That being said, if you are frequently relocating your monitor, removing the EPU from the bracket would likely prevent problems altogether. Alongside this standard design is an offset version of the mounting bracket (X260HolderArmMountHolder/Bracket). These two must be joined permanently through gluing or other similar methods to ensure they remain connected. Some might find the offset to be a bit excessive; I've included the source file for those who would like to modify it. To complete this setup, there's also an extra spacing bracket serving as a shim. This keeps the arm mount parallel to your monitor at all times.
