Low RPM Generator A more advanced version is available for download. Created specifically for testing purposes, a finished model is designed for my wind turbine located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1718731 This particular version features three phases with serpentine winding; however, theoretically other types of windings can be implemented. The magnets used are 4x4x15mm in size due to their availability, arranged in a Halbach array configuration. Initial measurements were taken with 50 windings (32 AWG wire) on one phase at approximately 120 RPM: 3.8 V peak-peak, after rectification insufficient for my application. Required components include: 40 x Magnets, 4x4x15mm (Q-15-04-04-MN from Supermagnete) 1 x M8 screw or threaded rod 2 x M8 Nut 2 x 608 bearing Ø22xØ8x7mm (e.g. inline skates bearings) 4-8 x M4 screw and nut Approximately 1 meter of wire per winding (32 AWG, sourced from a microwave transformer) Print settings: 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.15 Layer, 55mm/s Speed, no infill, no support Using CURA 15.04.06 Assembly instructions can be found in the Pictures section. You may glue M4 nuts into the "Deckel 2x.stl" file; however, ensure that mounting screws are not too long. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I also respond to inquiries in German.
