This complete stoneware tankard is embellished with the three legendary commanders of history: Joshua, David, and Alexander. The intricate vessel originates from the wreckage of a Dutch warship unearthed in Scarborough Harbour, Tobago. The ship succumbed to destruction during the 1677 Battle of Rockley Bay. A thorough examination of the wreck site is being led by Dr. Kroum Batchvarov of the University of Connecticut.
