Toast Rack
thingiverse
Our trusty toast rack finally gave up the ghost, prompting me to take matters into my own hands and design a brand new one from scratch. I opted for PolyWood filament, a PLA-based material that convincingly mimics the look of real wood, giving it an authentic touch. To add some extra flair, I carefully crafted dovetail grooves in the base and dovetail bars on each letter. While precision is crucial to get it just right, I deliberately aimed for a slightly looser fit, allowing them to slide in effortlessly, yet once glued, they became remarkably firm. Given my ProFab Mini printer's 120 mm maximum dimension, similar to my trusty MonoPrice Mini, these toast racks are as large as they can possibly be.
