To fix the issues with leveling and unwanted bed movements (bed shifting).

Update 12/29/2018 ----- I've replaced the old knob design with a new one that addresses issues with excessive re-leveling of the bed. The new knobs are only 8mm tall, and I've made it possible to insert the nut during printing by pausing the layer. To fix problems with needing to re-level the bed too often and unwanted shifting in prints: 1. Use washers and 3mm nylon insert nuts to lock the bed screws from turning or tilting while printing. 2. Also, use a 3mm nylon insert nut to help lock the adjustment knob in place even if the bed is depressed. To create the new knobs that work correctly with your printer and slicer, you need to support pausing at a set layer during printing so you can insert the nut then continue printing. If printing at .1 layer height, stop at the start of layer 71. To do this, your slicer and printer must be able to pause the print and move the head away (just like changing filament during a print). Note: The bed might shift while inserting the nuts. Get the nuts into the knobs completely, then: 1. Use the jog controls to home X then Y (Not Z), then jog out to where the nozzle sets after a Z home. 2. Zero out X & Y (Not Z). 3. Jog X to +10mm then jog Y to +5mm, then resume print. It happened to me and all worked great after. If you use Simply3D, find the code for 'pause at a layer' on my post https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3317840 There is a video link for the setup and use. Next upgrade will be in 2019.
