TMK 5113 Oikokirves - Stone axe

The Kivikautinen axe has been found in Ilmajoki. The axe belongs to the collections of the Turku Museum Centre. A three-dimensional model was made using an Artec Space Spider 3D scanner in two scans. The original polygon mesh has been simplified from 5,389,206 polygons to 450,000 polygons. The digitization was produced by a joint project of the archaeological branch of the University of Turku, the Turku Museum Centre and the Aboa Vetus et Ars Nova museum on the 3D-digitization of archaeological finds.
