American English: The Kivikautinen axe has been found in Ruskos, behind the airport, in a sand pit in December 1948. The axe was purchased for the Turun museum collection that same year. A 3D model has been made with the Artec Space Spider 3D scanner, three scans were taken. The original polygon mesh has been simplified from 7,697,486 polygons to 450,000 polygons. Digitization has produced a joint archaeological finds 3D digitization project between Turun University's archaeology department, the Turun museum and Aboa Vetus et Ars Nova Museum.
